Solutions for Online Qualitative Research

Do you need to further understand your target's needs? Do you need to create ideas for new products?

The qualitative research enables a greater involvement with the target to broaden the understanding of its needs, attitudes and drivers. Some tools make creating ideas for innovation possible.

  • Online groups – what are they and what are they for?

Online meetings in a chat room with 6 to 8 participants, moderated by a qualitative research expert, with a duration from 1 to 2 hours.

For mapping needs and drivers, to determine trends and behavior patterns, and to evaluate perceptions.

    Why ONLINE focus groups?

    • There are no geographic barriers; the respondents can be in any part of the world, as well as the clients wanting to follow the process.
    • No commuting from one location to another.
    • Participants in the CONECTAí panel are easily and quickly recruited.
    • It is more cost-effective than in-person discussions.
    • It allows tests that include sharing photos, videos, images and other stimuli to be conducted quickly.
    • It offers many control options to the moderator.
    • Fast results, automatic transcription.

Participants love the experience and feel highly involved.

  • Online communities – what are they and what are they for?

    • Online forum with up to 50 participants conducted directly by the client for a longer period of time, defined according to the goal.
    • For testing concepts, prompting ideas, producing innovation insights with the outside and inside target or any stakeholder group.
    • It requires the client's involvement so the learning and co-creative processes are effective.
    • Imagine a social network like a small scale Facebook, but one you are in charge of: you decide who can participate (predetermined profile), the topics the participants will discuss, for how long (1 week, 1 month?).
    • So the final goals are attained, you can establish tasks, roles and responsibilities, and interactions among the participants.
    • Building it is a collaborative process to the extent that the participants interact in discussions and share their thoughts, opinions and ideas. They can also post their own questions to induce more enriching discussions.
    • In short: co-creation in its purest form. That is what a closed research community allows you to do.

How does it work?
